Is Square appropriate for use by an individual for liquidating an estate?
I have to liquidate my parent's estate. There will potentially multiple estate sale dates due to the amount of items to get rid of. Would the use of Square be appropriate for me for this task so that I can accept multiple forms of payment rather than just cash? I am not a business. I do not have a tax ID number. Just a daughter with the task of being executrix.

Hey @mrobert6 - Welcome to the Community!
Square can be used for both businesses and people making personal sales such as garage or estate sales. You'll need to provide either a Social Security number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification number (ITIN) in order to sign up.
Hope that helps clarify things for you.
