IOS 13 updated on Iphone now card reader is not working. When will issue be resolved?????

Iphone updated to IOS 13 and now our card reader is not working. Used it for several transactions and then found out they didn't get recorded. Have lost money. When will this issue be resolved?????

Hey there! I'm so sorry to hear this is happening. I know this is a really frustrating situation, but please know that our hardware team is actively working with Apple to find a resolution to this issue. I think it would be really beneficial for us to take a closer look at your account to really see what happened with these payments, so please contact our Support team (squ.re/contact) when you get a chance and they can dive into the details of your account.

 

You may have noticed this on the other thread you commented on but we have some troubleshooting steps that have proven to help sellers that are on iOS 13.

  1. Force quit the Square app by tapping on the iPad home button twice and swiping up on the app’s preview.
  2. Remove your iPad from the Square Stand.
  3. Reopen the Square app.
  4. Re-insert your iPad into the Square Stand.
