I understand transaction limit of 50k, but
I'm running a construction company and often my bids exceed 50k , therefore we don use Square on those bids, since we can not provide breakdown, I have been with Square for over 4 years now and I love the whole thing, payroll, scheduling and transactions. ( Sold my first company) /now a new construction start up,/
My wish is to be able to provide estimate for over 50k , I don't mind the 50 k limit per financial transaction, but let me bid all my jobs here that exceed that monetary amount.

Hey @Gatana
I'm guessing that they probably won't change the estimate value allowed, since that it can then be converted to an invoice, and with the 50k cap on that is most likely the reason why that it won't be allowed. Maybe some things will change in the future. While checking into this, I pulled up this thread, which you may have already. I know its probably not ideal to do things outside of Square as it seems like you utilize many of their features. But @Candlestore offered a suggestion in this thread.
Congrats on the 2nd business btw.

Hey @Gatana,
Welcome to the Community.
All Square merchants have a per transaction/quote limit of $50,000.
If you plan to give a quote or accept payments of more than $50,000, you’ll need to split the quote/payment into multiple installments. Make sure to note the installment number and total in the payment receipts for your records.
Please note, in order to ensure a secure purchasing environment, we may periodically reach out to customers for additional information. Review our merchant protection guidelines and tips for safely accepting payment cards.
Let me know if I can assist you with anything else.

I get that, I'm using another billing system for larger projects, how do you break up 260k job into 6 invoices? Have you done business with customers?
Would that work out for you as a client to receive 6 different invoices?

I get it if each merchant transaction is limited to 50k, but you should be able to estimate much larger than that.
How is it possible for others invoice apps to achieve that ? And not square?
