I thought my domain was free with the monthly payments?

I was charged $29.95 for my new domain. I can't seem to get a hold of anyone at square. So I pain $29 monthly for my site and $29.95 for my domain. Did I do something wrong? What's the easiest way to get ahold of someone for help?
