I am receiving emails saying a refund to my customer has been processed.

I am receiving emails saying a refund to my customer has been processed. This is the second email I have received. I believe it is a scam and not sure how to report it. I have not requested refunds ever!!

Hi there, @LB40 - thanks for taking the time to share this, here. We have been getting scattered reports of this, and I think I can provide some clarity.

 

These email correspondences are poor phishing attempts by someone impersonating Square in an effort to steal private information. Our Security Team is actively investigating these kind of fraudulent impersonations with Law Enforcement to ensure they are squashed. 

If you could do us a favor and forward this over to spoof@squareup.com, it would help us in our investigation into where these are coming from.
