How can someone request a refund from a non seller

I got an alert this in regards a refund that will processed from my bank account. I just want to know how is that possible if I am not a seller or never received funds from the person that is due to be refunded? How can stop this process because I believe it's a scan of sort?

if you are not a seller then it is just spam email, do not reply to them or click on any links in the email as they are hoping you will give your login and password.

you can forward the email to spoof@squareup.com
