How can I find my outstanding Gift Card Liability as of a certain date?

I'm trying to reconcile my Gift Card liability as of Dec 31, 2017, but when I download the Gift Card Details Report it shows balances as of today.  The Summary Report is not cumulative, it only shows Gift Card activity for a certain period less than one year. How can I find the outstanding liability as of a certain date?  Thanks!

Thanks for your post, @yellowfever. I see what you mean; the Gift Cards Detail CSV only gives a snapshot of gift card status at the current point in time.

As for the Gift Cards Summary CSV, you should be able to select the proper date range from the calendar dropdown in the upper left corner, and the report should include a record of card activity for the selected period of time.

Does this help clear things up? If not, can you reply with a bit more information on which metrics you need to access? I'll be happy to take another look and run this by our Gift Cards Team for further review.

I'm also curious if this information is available.  I'd like to run a report of gift cards outstanding as of 12/31, but the only report showing total outstanding gift cards does not have a customizable date range.  As of right now, the only way to pull that information is to pull the report on the 1st before you conduct any transactions and download the detail CSV.  It would be helpful to select an 'as of' date to gather that information.

Hi and welcome to the Seller Community! 👋

This would be considered a feature request at this time, @jstemma.

I will make sure to pass this over to our product team for them to take it into consideration as it definitely sounds like a very useful feature.
