Gift card not show on report

Hi,

Does anyone know how to make square record gift card amount when we export the report?

We accepting gift card or voucher but it's seem that they gone to some other category even those I've putted gift card when we are selling.

I want to summarize all the gift card amount we have in month

Square Gift card sales are in the report and in the exported file.

 

Are you using Square gift cards or just a paper gift card/voucher?  those would show up in other sales depending on how the cashier rang up the sale.

I'm now seeing the gift card in exported report.

Do you know if we can do customize payment method and make a discount rule 😄

I would also like a way to show our paper gift certificates, and be able to add our Payroll deduction as a payment type, instead it groups it all into one under "other" on the report which is a pain. How can we customize this?

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly see how helpful that would be when looking through reporting. At this moment that is not available. I would advise submitting a feature request on our Ideate Board, our new process of tracking features. Please keep in mind when you submit a request it does not guarantee that this feature will be implemented. I hope this helps!

You can add a note to transactions to explain what type of payment was taken, but again I understand that is not ideal.

The note doesn't show on the end of day report. I need it to actually print out with that information.
