Charge not reflecting in balance
Hello, I got square about a month ago as my partner and I are contractors and we sometimes receive requests from our clients as to whether or not we accept credit cards as a form of payment.
I set up my account, verified our bank account and today I processed my second payment as my first payment I just processed a dollar to make sure it worked about 3 weeks ago.
The payment was for some interior paint we got 50% down which came out to a little over $2,000. Unlike the first charge I took 3 weeks ago the payment is simply not reflecting in my balance in the application.
I'm going to be calling their customer service line tomorrow but just to give me some peace of mind in regards to the situation is this typically normal? Everything I've read has led me to believe that payments usually reflect in the balance within 15 minutes or so and it's been a little less than an hour now. Any input would be greatly appreciated
