Can you set up an account for Government organization using a Tax id number?
We do not want to use an indivisula's Social Security to opent the account? how do you work around that?

all accounts need to start with a social security number to prove it is a real person applying per the Customer Identification Programs (CIPs) part of the USA Patriot Act of 2001. once you have an account you can enter your EIN to tie the income to the business.
as for using Square for a government, there is nothing in Square the stops that but it is highly regulated by each department what services can be used.
