Can multiple square users purchase gift cards together?

We have multiple independent contrators that work in our location, so we would like to know if we can purchase the cards together in bulk? Are the cards prelaoded with the purchasers info? Or are they universal until you load them?

The gift cards are tied to the account that buys them.  so unless you are all under one square account that will not work.

As @VanKalkerFarms mentioned, Gift Cards can only be redeemed with the business that ordered them. The gift cards are universal and when you have multiple locations enabled, your gift cards can be issued and redeemed at any of the locations associated with your Square account.
