Can customers make partial payment to an inoice?

Can customers with an existing invoice make partial payments to that invoice?

I don't want to create a payment schedule, but rather enable them to make payments on their own schedule/amount.

I believe at one time, (maybe last year) this was still possible and an option for customers to do so without making a payment schedule.  As long as it was all paid before the actual due date.  I am not sure if that option was taken away with an update, or maybe when Invoice Plus pricing came out.

You are able to collect deposits on your Invoices on both the free plan and Invoices Plus. To compare the features of the two plans, please see this article from our Support Center.
