Can I end recurring INVOICES without ending the member's RECURRING CHARGE?
My members are receiving automatically monthly INVOICES and as well as being charged automatically. I am concerned the will be charged twice, unaware that the Invoice is just an FYI. It is unnecessary however, and is only causing confusion. How can I delete INVOICES yet maintain RECURRING CHARGE series?

Hey @denapaolino -
I understand your concern. If you delete a recurring invoice, it will no longer charge you customer. To clarify, the monthly invoice and the automatic charge are the same thing. Your customer's are not being charged twice. If your customer's card is already on file, and they don't want to receive a recurring invoice email, you could choose the Share Invoice Manually method as apposed to the Send Invoice by Email option.This will stop invoices and attached files from being sent out via email.
Please see below how you can manually send out Invoices:
Edit an Invoice
- Navigate to Invoices in your online Square Dashboard.
- Click on the desired invoice.
- Click Edit to update the invoice details.
- Click on Invoice Method and select Share Invoice Manually

My issue is that the member may pay the invoice yet they are also being automatically charged so I don’t want them to have the invoice sent as it causes confusion
