Anyone use square register outdoor in the summer time for food booth?

Does anyone use the square register system out doors? We wanted to purchase it for our booth at the fair. Wondering how it will hold up outside in the summer time heat or if it would have issues running?

Welcome to the Community @Molesnsand! This is a great question for this time of year and just after the Memorial Day weekend! 🌞🌞

I just want to let you know that the newer Square Register doesn't have a battery and it will turn off if disconnected from power. For that reason the Square Stand might be a better option, as it will run off the iPad's battery. (A detailed comparison of Square Register and Stand is available in our Support Center.)
