Any way to get an Order Number for each order that starts at 1 and goes up?
Is there any way to have my Square orders get number each day,s tarting at 1? We're using this for a live event and after people order, we grab their stuff, and then want to shout out "Order 15" or whatever it is.
When I look at the Transactions in the app, I see "Receipt" number for each order but they are random numbers and letters which won't work for this particular thing.
If I can have the first order get Order #1, the second gets #2, etc, that would be great.

Hi @Kelemvor,
Welcome back to The Seller Community!
So you can add notes to your transactions. So you can add a note that says " Order 1." The next one is "Order 2." And so on.
1. From your current sale, tap Review Sale.
2. Tap an item or custom amount to add notes.
3. Select the back arrow to save the note and return to the current sale.
Would that work for you? If not let me know.
Good luck on your event!

It's more work if we have to do it manually, and we then have to keep track of what number comes up next, but if that's the only way to do that then I guess we don't have an option.
However, for a setup where you order at one window and pick up at another window, and people just yell out "Order 213", it'd be helpful to have that included by default.

Will you guys have a printer @Kelemvor ?
If you’ve connected a supported printer, you can print order tickets for your kitchen, and order ticket stubs and receipts for customers from the Square app.
To turn on order tickets and order ticket stubs on Android devices:
- From the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen, tap More.
- Tap Settings > Hardware > Printers.
- Tap the desired printer and toggle Order Tickets and Order Ticket Stubs on. Turn on Receipts to also print customer receipts.
- Select which item categories will be printed on your order tickets.
- Choose whether ticket numbers will be auto-assigned or manually entered. If you auto-assign ticket numbers, each completed sale will generate a ticket number from 01 – 99. After 99, ticket numbers will begin again at 01.
- The ticket number will be displayed at the top of the printed stub, and at the top-right of the payment confirmation screen.
Let us know if that works!

No, we won't have a printer as this is at a fair in a park. We'll make do with what we have.
Thanks.
