The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: "After Pay Fee collection."
1.My question is in area of After Pay. I understand the process and a fee applies to purchase for merchant after promotional period similar to Square fees. I do understand it is per transaction at the rate of 6% plus 30 cents that applies to sale. Also is this fee the only fee or is Squares normal fees added in addition to these fees? 2.My question is can this be set up as an item on register that you can add manually to recover the 6 percent. I did this with debit/charge transaction to recover part of fees for transaction at the point of sale. On the quick tabs under Page 1 I have set a green tab for the fee to have easy access. Any suggestions?

Hi @Ameliasbows - Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Square Seller Community👋 I'm happy to help answer these questions for you.
The fee for Afterpay transactions on Square Online is 6% + 30¢ per order, which is the standard BNPL rate that Afterpay charges merchants. You’ll get paid the full amount at the time of purchase, minus the transaction fee on the total order. There are no processing fees charged on the remaining installments, and no other monthly fees or activation costs.
For payments processed via Afterpay in-person, there is a discounted processing rate of 2.6% + 30 cents through Sept 10, 2022. After this promotional period, Afterpay processing rates will be 6% + 30 cents.
If you'd like, you can use our surcharge feature to cover the cost of the processing fees. You can find more info within this thread.
I hope this information is helpful but please do let me know if you have any additional questions.
