@maxpete We like to use instagram poles for feedback! But nothing beats just chatting with your regulars and asking for honest feedback. Asking first time guests can also be very helpful because they aren't bias yet but it can also combat a bad review later if you happen upon someone not liking something then you can fix it right then and there or see if there is something more suitable for them.
It can be scary but if you want to grow you have to seek feedback as much as possible.

We attach flyers to our takeaway bags with a QR Code that links to our google reviews but its seldom used.
We find that people are generally only likely to leave feedback if something went wrong and never when something good happened.
We use Deliverect as our 3rd party app integrator and that has a QR Code on the bottom that does the same thing. It would be great if Square gave us the option to add a QR Code to receipts as well.

Smart idea to use the QR code! Maybe as a way to entice reviews (good ones too) you can offer some sort of promotion if a customer leaves one?

Customers are most likely to provide feedback when they are extremely satisfied or extremely disappointed. The goal is the former but the latter does come up once in a while. When that happens, we just make sure the customer feels heard and appreciated for their feedback regardless what it is. Then offer a coupon to come back for a free meal on the house. Most customers just want to be heard when something goes wrong.
