I don't think I've reviewed the sites of that many authors yet!

Here are few thoughts I had after looking through your site:

• Since the site is about you, you may want to use your name as the site title instead of the image of the book. This will help set you up for the future if and when you add additional stories for sale.
• I would also consider using a different layout for your navigation - perhaps the layout with the site name on the left and links on the right. It will reduce some of the negative space and balance the links nicely.
• On your homepage, I'm wondering if you might prefer a layout using the image of your book on the left and your text and links on the right. For the section above it, instead of using the book cover as the background, you could then use a solid color instead. The combination of these will add a bit more visual dynamics and increase readability.
