Is anyone else using Square for a large amount of inventory?

Ever since the Weebly integration, I have found myself extremely frustrated with my online store. It completely changed the setup of my site and I now have to start from scratch. While setting up my new store, it is very confusing to add items, categories, etc. Once I finally figured it out, I noticed you can add a "sale" badge. I thought, "how neat!" Until I realized that doing this will also change the price on the POS side. So even though I have something listed at full-price "$140" and sale price "$100" on the online store, when I pull it up on my POS, it is still listed at full-price. Weebly said to contact Square and Square said I can do a variable discount, but wouldn't life be SO much easier if the two systems communicated?!? I am starting to think I am crazy for trying to utilize Square to house the 1,000+ merchandise items I have. Ha - have I wasted 3+ years?!

Hey @mgause thank you for sharing and for your feedback regarding this experience - it sounds super frustrating and we really appreciate your transparency in this.

Essentially, you are correct. If you put an item for sale, you won’t see that reflected on your Point of Sale app. So, if you want to have the discount on Point of Sale, you will have to create your own discount and apply it when checking out in Point of Sale.

We are working diligently on merging all things Weebly and Square, so your story and feedback regarding this helps immensely, but for now, that is the workaround that will be needed until we can sync up all features from both.

Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thank you!
