But since its Friday and like me your working late to get this going Im going to try to be of some help.
To use Square via a website you must pass data through an API. (got to APPs - My Apps /Develpoers Portal)
If your using the built in ecomm portion of sqaure (online store). Any items you add as a product will show both on your square site and also be able to be selected via your "terminal" for sales. So if your creating said code IN the online store - then yes, as that is your account.
If your using an e-comm application. It might have the ability to use Square.
Over the past.. 9 months? Square has been working on intergrations so there are choices now.
