online store scheduling

We are a pizza shop offering scheduling pick ups every 30 minutes.

We schedule the pick ups are on the hour or on the half hour.

 

Seems there has been an update that just auto generates 30 minutes from whatever the current time is. Do to this the system of scheduling sometimes it will not allow guests to select a on the hour or on the half hour time frame. 

 

We treat it like exactly like dinner reservations.

 

This has been a huge hiccup in our scheduling process.

 

any advice of how you handle scheduled pick ups would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the Community! 

 

There is an option to limit the amount of scheduled pick-up orders in your Online Store. Some of the sellers I have helped in the past used this to help with a similar situation. 

 

This setting is under your Online Store > Settings > Pickup & Delivery > Edit Location > Scheduling

Thank you for the reply.

 

At this point setting limit orders doesn't work for us. The issue of auto generating times would still remain and not with our scheduling program. Do you have any recommendations of how we can only offer pick up times that are on the hour or on the half our.

 

We are unable to use the delivery function due to this timing issue as well.
