What file format is used for 360 degree images?
[Note: The title of this post has been edited by a moderator for clarity.]
Cancel - I found out. Can anyone tell me what format is acceptable to Square to upload a 360 image/video?

Thanks for your question, @BobatWSWB.
The file format for 360 images is .spin, although some people have made them with .gif files. You can read more about that in our support article on adding images to items in Square Online.

Is there any documentation out there how to generate those from a GIF?

Hey @AVsupport,
Thanks for writing back in! Are you trying to turn a .gif into a .spin file, or vice versa?

Well whatever works I suppose, but the only platform I could find to create .spin files with the source material is SIRV, which costs, and there's no further documentation in the developers forum either. I'd like to create my own, and offer to others.
