Dashboard Customization
I have been a loyal member of Square since 2012 and I have watch these annual changes to the product and how every year we loose more features than we gain.
Today I logged in to prepare for the upcoming season and I see that Square has now removed my ability to customize my dashboard.
The reason I am forming this question as more of a statement is because I already know the answer. Square has devalued to the lowest point ever. I now have to fish though countless useless information before I can see what I really need for my business.
SQUARE: We all do not fit into the same cookie cutter you want us in. Here is a list of items I would like to REMOVE from my dashboard. Items I WILL NEVER USE!
1. I have NO TEAM nor will I ever.
2. I have NO PAYROLL nor will I ever.
3. I have NO APPOINTMENTS nor will I ever.
4. I have 1 time customers and thats how may business works NO LOYALTY requirements.
5. I market in other ways NO MARKETING with square nor will I ever.
6. I have NO APPS nor will I ever.
7. I have no use for PAYMENT TYPE I could care less.
8. TOP ITEMS are useless to me as my unique business uses 30 years of one-on-one experience.
9. I have NO CATEGORIES that need to be monitored if I do, I know how to run a report.
10. The rest of the minutia you have cluttering my dashboard I can look up in drop down menus and DO NOT WANT TO SEE IT ON MY DASHBOARD.
Someone please prove me wrong. Why can I not TURN OFF the clutter on my dashboard?

Hi @Feedback2016, thank you for taking the time to check in here and outline how these online Square Dashboard changes impact your day-to-day workflow. I'm really sorry for the frustration.
Firstly, I want to let you know that we're surfacing your post with the appropriate team members. We want to make sure that we're enabling you to be efficient and put your focus where it needs to be: on your business.
In addition, I hope I can offer some initial context on what happened. Since the onset of COVID-19 and its impact to many businesses, we made an effort to highlight additional services that would help sellers move their sales online (e.g. for food and retail businesses who have had to temporarily pause in-person interactions due to shelter in place orders).
I hope you remain safe and healthy as you prepare for the upcoming season. We'll advocate for more control over the dashboard display as our Point of Sale and Online Store teams review these changes. I'm keeping an eye on this and I will share updates as I come across more details.
