Card on file glitch

Hello there. I Have the requirements for a credit card to be on file to book an appointment with the no show protection. But I am constantly getting people who book appointments online through square and not putting up credit card in even though it's required. So I went to my appointments, acted like I was going to make an appointment, and people can completely skip the credit card by check off the boxes agreeing to terms of service and the fact that my salon requires a credit card. they don't even have to put a credit card in they can book an appointment. what is the point of the no-show protection and the requirement of credit cards if they can completely just not input anything in those spots. It seems like this is a huge glitch and it needs to be fixed because this could cost people so much money if people no show because then we can't get money from them. 

 

Please let me know if this needs to go into a different section, but I truly hope that as developers you guys can help with this problem. This is a huge glitch and a very large inconvenience for small businesses that are appointment based.

This is more of an Appointments Section, but I'm sure a mod can move it.

 

I use appointments myself, but usually its manually adding a customer.  I did however go through my settings, made sure credit card was required at time of appointment, checked ( and tried) both cancellation fee options for booking with no show protection.  Checking out the booking flow afterwards,, both ways I was unable to actually reserve the appointment until the credit card section was filled out.  I'm not sure if I have a different settings checked that you do.   

Just clarifying though that you have gone through all of your settings?

I have checked and ensured that the credit card is required multiple times because this has been happening for weeks.

Hmm, I'm a bit stumped.

What level of Appointments do you have? It could be that with the new tiered system you lost that ability?
