Payment error

Hi hello every one I’m a first time user when people pay using pay to tap an error message pops up not letting the customer complete the payment if any one has any suggestions i would be happy to hear them , thank you have a great day.

More information would be needed on how your Device and your Tap reader are connected to the Internet.  For Square to check to see if the Credit Card Payment is valid or not over the customers credit limit Square needs an Internet connection.  If you do not have an internet plan or cell reception where your trying to take a payment, this could be one of the reasons for not allowing the customer to complete the payment.  The Tap payment is that a Cell Tap or a Credit Card Tap?  Are you logged into your Square account when trying to accept a payment?  Did the Bluetooth Reader go into low power mode to save battery?  Is your reader plugged in or are you going off the battery in the reader?  Anyone of these could be a reason, plus if your phone goes into low power mode it could shut off the Bluetooth to the reader.  My s20 Fe did that to a bluetooth speeker the other day, everytime the Screen went off so would the sound on the bluetooth speeker.  Just some things for you to check into.
