I would like to see a price override option. This option will allow you to change the price of any item temporally "for this sale only" on the fly like at the POS counter on the register.
IE. Customer comes to your location, selects an item they wish to buy and requests a lower price due to damage to item or other reasons... (would need manager approval) you would touch the price of the item and change it. then a box would popup for reasons IE Damage,late delivery, price was advertised at a lower price, price match at other stores etc... or Other "type in reason."
I dont think this is much to ask and would benefit everyone using the system

I'd like to see the Calendar and Booking features greatly improved... be able to use it in situations where multiple people are included in the reservation (think "tours"), and the number is a question that is required when the appointment is made... we currently have to "hope" that people tell us in the notes field. With this info, it would be great to be able to cap the number of people coming in a particular hour. On the back-end improve the dashboard for appointments to help the person whose job is to manage appointments throughout the day.

One other thing... please fix price tag printing within Inventory... formatting to printers never works correctly.

I would love to see a simple subtotal before tax. We have spending requirements for discounts and we are having to calculate subtotal on the fly. thanks

Seeing appointment change history! If an appt is moved, changed- you'll never know in the history) It would be great to see rescheduling information, and or if the person is constantly late/ downgrades/ or even just happens to be the salon constantly moving their time around to accommodate the salon's scheduling errors.

I wish we could add reoccurring late fees to invoices.

having the reviews translate to google would be INCREDIBLE!!!!! late fees would be nice as well instead of the full cancellation fee, which we can't really dictate if we want to give them a percentage discount for exemption, extreme circumstances, its all or nothing right now.

Monthly subs? Invoices have a recurring feature. You can also create subscriptions. Go to your dashboard and subscriptions should be on the left side under Marketing. Do this from your computer.
If you have multiple locations on your Square account, I don't see why you couldn't activate those locations as pickup locations.

Yes to the pickup options! I have only one location but offer local pickup at other business locations where we "pop-up". So creating a separate location for that pickup isn't "right" because the location belongs to a separate business!

As a retail company, the ability to run an inventory report at the end of year would be helpful. Beginning and end inventory for example.

I would love a block feature for booking appointments.
Also to be able to accept deposits. square has the card for no show protection, however, clients can unlink their cards when they want. 100% of the time ive had a no/no show i have been out of lock with payment

The ability to export ALL of the data associated with our database. I am frustrated beyond belief by not being able to pull and analyze data in the way I need to. Shopkeep allowed me to dump out the entire database and I could crunch those numbers however I wanted to. Square limits my ability to look at my own data. It is overwhelmingly frustrating.

I second this one. It's absurd to not be able to get a report that contains, for example, zip code info for credit card purchases that we can use to create a "heat map". Toast provides this data, can't see why Square wouldn't.

A better subscription service option. The current setup for recurring invoices is not working well for my subscription boxes. Including not collecting a fulfillment address, so I have to email new customers to get the address.
