I would like to see a price override option. This option will allow you to change the price of any item temporally "for this sale only" on the fly like at the POS counter on the register.
IE. Customer comes to your location, selects an item they wish to buy and requests a lower price due to damage to item or other reasons... (would need manager approval) you would touch the price of the item and change it. then a box would popup for reasons IE Damage,late delivery, price was advertised at a lower price, price match at other stores etc... or Other "type in reason."
I dont think this is much to ask and would benefit everyone using the system

When you set the invoice up set it to sharing manually and then you can pull them up on your PoS

I guess then I would like to see an option on the checkout screen or the ability to add a shortcut to invoices that are unpaid.

When a invoice for a event is approved it would be nice if the event is added to calendar automatedly or have a button you can click to add it to the calendar.

The ability to block certain customers from making appointments. An easy feature that I don't understand why it's not a feature yet. Also, customized texts when they do make an appointment. Another easy feature that can be added to the software.

The ability to swipe/chip to save a card on file (open a tab), without saving it in the customer information. We're finding a lot of hesitance to enter in extra information (email, zip code, etc) to save a card on file.

The ability to send a Quote or Estimate in the Invoicing platform so the Quote or Estimate can be converted to an Invoice when approved by the client, or the ability to change the word โInvoiceโ to Quote or Estimate.

There is an estimates section where you can create an estimate to send and turn it into an invoice after it is approved.

To have all the same functions available when customers order online vs. over the phone or in-person. The square POS does not allow us to mark an order in progress or complete as we can with an online order. The square POS also removes the order from open tickets the moment it's paid. Most of the time, we haven't started making the food yet. Would you please enhance the POS systems to match the online capabilities?

Group classes for Scheduling. I would love to be able to use Square across my entire business, but since I can't have customers book under the same reservation type during the same time slot, we are going to have to find another solution. Having an option to have multiple people sign up for one class at the same time would be a game changer.

I'd like to setup shipping profiles with another smaller unit of measurement for weight. It takes an order of several of my largest products to go into pounds territory, & the decimals have made it hard to setup some products, like a lanyard for example. 0.1 lbs converts to 1.6 oz, which is over the 1 oz limit of a "forever" stamp, which I can ship a lanyard or key tag in a security envelope.
Here is my current shipping profile:

I would love to be able to run a report that shows orders by fulfillment type. Only through tedious workarounds can I figure out how much delivery my restaurant is doing any given day, week, etc (as far as I know...if there is such a report, please help me find it!). It seems so simple, and would be great information to have.

Not storing cards when a tab is opened. Our bartenders have to hold onto cards for open tabs, it's inefficient and cards are lost on occassion.

For retail operations, allow sub-categories. Better reporting - I would like to be able to easily get by category, top 20 items sold by $ and by unit with current on hand for a specified time period. Also top 100 items by retail $ and by units with current inventory. Currently I have to export to excel and do a lot of unnecessary work to get these very basic reports. Bonus points if I can get these reports by vendor as well.
The lack of detailed reports was my biggest reservation about moving to Square, and has been my biggest headache since.
