? could be... When visiting a service business what is the best offering you have been offered while waiting for your appointment.  ie coffee, tea, flavoured water and so on. Would you visit a place that offers this or is there a need for this to gain your business.

Yes, I still remember the first time I went to a salon and while waiting was offered a robe and a bottle of water, tea, or soda. I felt so 'special'! haha. This was years ago but I'd saved up my $$ for the visit and it really helped take the experience up a notch. Now I go to a nail salon that offers beverages and while I usually say no I really appreciate the gesture.

What was the difference between earning $100,000 and $300,000 in sales in your business?
Revenue is important, but how have you been able to increase your margins?

Richard Branson once described entrepreneurship as the most critical job in the world. In your own field, what unique actions or innovations do you undertake that underscore the importance and impact of entrepreneurship?

What is the single best piece of advice you wish someone would have told you about how to use Square to manage inventory as you grow beyond 10 products, and again beyond 100 products?

this is a great question... I really wish I made sure I put all the information in. When we first opened we didn't realize the importance of having unit costs, vendors, and weights...  now we find ourselves having to back track which- with 1000s of products- is so much work.

I run a consignment shop and am wondering how other such shops utilize square to suit their consignment-specific needs!

Hey there! Fellow shop owner here. I've had my shop for 12.5 years and have used square for 12 of those.

I currently use consigncloud which has a full integration with square. So I use Square as my POS and then it sends all the sales data over to consigncloud. I like to use square's reporting for quick glances and to get ideas of where I'm at quickly. Their apps are just so easy to use.

Then with ConsignCloud I use that for the inventory management, consignor payouts, and deeper reporting (like turn rates, etc).

I've only done consignment for a specific brand once when I first opened my brick and mortar.  I actually created a consignment category and placed everything under that.  I put my fee for him as the unit price.  I'm sure there are better ways to do that now as that was almost 3 years ago.

How have you been able to integrate Square Appointment setting into your service based businesses? Has it been as helpful as you'd like? Are there any setbacks or issues that you've had to work around? Especially in regards to approving each appt request?
