Can my clients be in a different country as me ?

Hi, am sending this text from Ivory Coast, West Africa. I've just created an account on Square, and I'd like to know if it's supported here in my country or not. Plus, About the business type; I'd to sell portaits online through print on demand and my target location is UK and USA. So I'd like to know if it's possible for me to sell products internationally. Plus, my store is built on WordPress Woocommerce. Thanks.

Hi there @Dogssmilestore 🙂

Card payment acceptance with the Square is currently available in the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, France and Spain.

Card processing is not currently supported in the Ivory Coast, unfortunately.

To use a Square account for card payments, you would need to be living and have a registered address in one of our supported countries and your business would also need to be based here.

We’re working to bring payments processing to more markets and will share updates on squareup.com/news.

I am running a business based in Pakistan, but my store exclusively serves US clients. Currently, my account's locale is set to Pakistan, and I want to ensure this setting will not cause any issues with payment processing, taxes, or customer experience for my US-based clients.

Could you please confirm if my current setup is optimal, or advise if I need to change the locale to the United States for smoother operations?

Thanks for your question, @iAmir

I've moved your post to an existing thread where card payment acceptance by country has been discussed.

Unfortunately, card processing is not supported in Pakistan at this time. I suggest checking out Breffni’s response in this thread for more details.

If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out!
