Block Celebrates Square Women in Business

We are excited to invite you to join us for an inspiring panel discussion about women in business. Our event, Block Celebrates Square Women in Business, will feature three exceptional women business owners who have charted their own paths to success.

This celebration of International Women's Day will take place on Wednesday, March 8, at 4 p.m. GMT/11 a.m. EST. Don't miss this opportunity to hear from and connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about empowering women in the business world. You can now register for the event here.

The theme for International Women's Day 2023 is #EmbraceEquity, and we hope that by coming together to celebrate the achievements of women in business and highlighting their paths to success, we can help amplify the work needed to create a more inclusive and equitable world.

How to participate

After registering for the event at Brandlive, post questions in this thread that you would like our speakers to address. Questions must be submitted before Wednesday, March 8. During the event, we will try to answer as many questions as we can.

A few example questions:

  • What advice would you give to other women entrepreneurs or those considering starting a business?
  • What do you think are the strengths of being a woman leader/business owner?
  • How call we all, women and allies, continue to support small businesses?

Unable to attend at this date and time? No problem. All events will be recorded and shared with registered attendees, and we will share the answers to your questions on the Seller Community.

I am so excited for this event, @tranguyen!

Definitely looking forward to seeing/hearing everyone's questions and also keen on hearing from Grace and Bee as well!

Looking forward to hearing from and celebrating successful business women!

My question is: how did you know it was the right time to expand (through premises/staff) and what were the first steps you took to do this?

thank you 🙂

Looking forward to this great event. How do I find out more information about participating in any future discussions as a possible panelist . I’m a serial entrepreneur with over 30 years and business and all of my brands use Square!!

@tranguyen

Question: what would be the best advice you could give for someone really struggling with their business right now ?

Have any of you ever had to "break up" with a business partner? How do you (or would you) handle this situation as professionally as possible? What do you do if they become nasty?

Hello! My question is: How do you not feel dishearten when experiencing chronic health challenges? I feel there are illnesses that are vulnerable to women which adds another layer on top of the intricacies of running a business. How do you reconcile that you are forced to rest and take a break from running, growing your business because you are physically, emotionally and mentally unavailable due to chronic pain?

Thanks
