Of course we have Square marketing integrated with online so we are pushing holiday products and seasonal offerings via email and text message.
We do offer different 20% off discount windows during holiday shopping which are really successful. We are handling fulfillment one day at a time...
We try to get our product mix correct. It's easy to over-order but those are the big lessons we've learned year over year.

I developed a strategy during October and November, preparing for 2025. I am a super new business and my first year has been very slow, but I'm trying to not be in a rush and let things happen naturally. Here are my plans:
Strategies: I've created a "Creation Schedule" to line up with the holidays that cards are most given on. From the retail perspective, I'm making sure to get product created at least one month before the accompanying holiday to account for shipping/mailing.
Special Sales: I also already created a clearance sale of cards that I made in the beginning. As I hone my craft and follow market trends, I'll be making sales as I go.
Fulfillment: Being this close to Christmas, I am done making Xmas cards and have moved to Valentine's and others. I don't foresee needing to do anymore mailing until after the new year. As mentioned, I'm brand new and just getting growing.
Goals/Changes: I've implemented pricing adjustments and will continue to follow market trends and am in a wait-and-see pattern for the current potentially impending tariffs.
Lessons: Being this is the first year for my business, and I didn't have a holiday plan, I mostly spent the first year acquiring supplies and creating an inventory as well as learning about my target audience; I didn't learn from any past holidays per se, but I have learned information needed going into next year.

Right now im trying to streamline our site as well as to get more items listed for sale. Have been doing sales based on photos and then sending out invoices as well which has worked quite well that last few times but have found lots of scammer. On facebook where the invoices have saved me at least twice.
